AKHADA OF THE DEAD
In the wrestling heartland of Haryana, Anshul Yadav—once a celebrated under-19 kushti champion—now sweeps floors at the very akhada that once praised him. Disgraced after failing a doping test and haunted by humiliation, he moves like a ghost in the world he once ruled.
Desperate to reclaim control, he unknowingly becomes the subject of a rogue medical experiment. As his body begins to transform—stronger, faster, but disturbingly unstable—Anshul starts losing grip on his humanity. A shadowy figure, half-dog, half-man, appears only to him, pulling him deeper into his primal instincts.
A chilling mix of psychological horror and sports drama, Akhada of the Dead explores masculinity, caste, and the search for identity in a world that values strength over soul.
Because in this arena, losing your humanity might be the only way to survive.

I’m currently in the process of casting for my Diploma film at SRFTI, which I’ll be directing. We’ll be shooting in New Delhi in late August 2025.
The film requires strong performances and grounded portrayals rooted in realism and emotion.
We’re looking for talented actors with Haryanvi accent proficiency to play the following characters (screen age 30).
